Damon was born and raised in Adelaide. However, in 1992, he made the move to London to further his education in fine wine.
A couple of years later, Damon’s other natural flair came to the fore – property. In 1994, he began working out of a real estate office in the salubrious suburb of St Johns Wood. Within a year, Damon owned his first investment property and has never looked back. In 1997, Damon went solo, opening his own property management and investment company in South London. So successful was Damon’s business that, by 2003, it was the market leader in its category.
On the back of this success, Damon was able to sell the company and move back to his beloved home town of Adelaide, to raise his young family and realise his dream of owning a vineyard – spending the next three years creating his award winning boutique winery, Brackenwood.
In 2006, Damon met Joseph Chou and accepted the invitation to open the Adelaide office of Ironfish.
Damon has an extensive portfolio of investment properties in Australia and the UK. Along with managing the Ironfish Adelaide office, he continues to run his winery in his spare time.
